Chapter Philanthropy and Service

At the core of Zeta Tau Alpha is our philanthropy: breast cancer education and awareness. In October, Breast Cancer Awareness month, we participate in the Pinking of the Canal, pass out pink ribbons at Indianapolis Colts Crucial Catch games, and much more!

In the spring we put on a large-scale fundraising event, called Big Man on Campus (BMOC). BMOC is a collegiate male talent competition where contestants from different campus fraternities compete to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer. The Creed of Zeta Tau Alpha asks its members, “to think in terms of all mankind and our service to the world.” Following the example set by our founders many years ago, today’s members are truly living a life of service. Since 2013, ZTA at IUPUI has contributed over $133,000 to find a cure.

Philanthropy and service play a major role in the life of our chapter. It is one of the most important and fun things that we do together! Lambda Epsilon Chapter has been recognized on campus for our philanthropic work, and you’ll see us “thinking pink” all over Indianapolis!
